Trainings are available upon request. Lauren has conducted trainings for students, school staff, non-profits, and community groups on various topics including ethics, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention and management, parenting, self-care, anxiety and stress management, school-based services, and school social work.
Lauren has broad knowledge and a wide variety of skills and can tailor a presentation to meet your group's needs.

Consultation
Lauren has spent her entire career as a social worker working as a social worker in schools. She has served as a program coordinator for a school based mental health collaborative managing non-profit providers in a school setting.
She has worked as a school social worker at multiple elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school providing, counseling, case management, and crisis intervention to students, families, and staff. She also provided related service counseling for students receiving social education services. Additionally, she was instrumental in growing the social work team from 3 social workers to 10 social workers through the development of policies and procedures, data collection, and program evaluation.
In her private practice, she currently contracts with her local ISD to provide therapy for school staff utilizing an innovative model she developed.
Lauren has a wide array of experience as a school social worker and clinician. Lauren can provide professional consultation on suicide risk/management in schools, school social work services, related services counseling, social emotional learning, faculty and staff wellness, and more.
